How to report an SCE power outage

The fastest way to report an SCE power outage is online at sce.com or in the MySCE App, or call 1-800-611-1911.

If a power line is down, or anything is sparking or on fire, stay at least 30 feet away and call 911 if anyone is in danger.

Can I get a credit or reimbursement for an SCE power outage?

SCE's Service Guarantee says that if service is not restored within 24 hours of when SCE first becomes aware of an outage, SCE will credit the bill $30, with additional credits for each further 24-hour period without service. It does not apply to Public Safety Power Shutoffs, moderate, severe or catastrophic storm conditions, declared emergencies, maintenance outages or vacant locations. Separately, SCE accepts damage claims but says it is generally responsible only for losses caused by its negligence, not for outages or food loss from forces outside its control such as weather.
