Can I get a credit for an Xfinity outage?
Xfinity says that if you were affected by a recent outage you may be eligible for a credit, and it applies the credit automatically if your account meets eligibility, including not having reached the maximum credit limit. You can check eligibility from the Xfinity Support page under 'Outage map and credit' > 'Check credit eligibility'. Separately, the Xfinity Residential Services Agreement lets you request a pro rata credit for an interruption of more than 24 consecutive hours after you report it, within 120 days, except for causes beyond Xfinity's control.
