Can I get a credit for an Optimum outage?
Optimum's billing information page says that if a cable-related outage lasts more than four consecutive hours, you get full credit on your bill for the time lost, provided you contact Optimum within 30 days of the outage. Optimum's Residential Terms of Service cap credits for interruptions at one regular billing period's service and equipment charges, and they exclude some interruptions, including those caused by circumstances beyond Optimum's control.
