Step by step

  1. Check it is not just you. Our live Starlink page shows reports from other Starlink customers in the US in the last 24 hours, and the outage map shows where they are.
  2. Report it to Starlink:
    • App: Starlink App
    • Phone: 1-866-606-5103, Call-back line (US residential customers who are offline)
  3. Write down when the outage started and when service came back. You need the times if you ask Starlink for a credit.
  4. Report it on our Starlink page too, so people near you can see it is not just them.

Can I get a credit for a Starlink outage?

Starlink says it does not offer service credits or refunds for outage periods, except for Service Level Agreement violations on Local Priority and Global Priority plans. On those plans, Starlink commits to 99.9% uptime per billing period and credits 20% of the recurring line and data fees if a terminal misses that threshold, subject to exclusions. Source

When will it be fixed?

Only Starlink knows. If Starlink lists the problem on its official support pages or app, that is where an estimated fix time appears. We cannot see Starlink's network: our live page shows whether reports from other customers are still coming in, and a drop in reports usually means service is coming back.

Tell others it is not just them

A report on our page does not reach Starlink, but it shows other Starlink customers nearby what is happening. Reports are anonymous.
