- Unplug your modem and router, wait 30 seconds, plug the modem in first, then the router after 2 minutes.
- Check the lights on the modem: a red or blinking "online" or internet light usually means no connection from the provider.
- Connect a computer directly to the router with a cable to rule out a Wi-Fi problem.
- Sign in to your Xfinity account or app: providers show outages in your area there, often with an estimated fix time.
- Check cables and splitters, especially after storms or building work.
- If neighbours have no internet either, it is an outage in your area. Note the time it started: many providers give a credit for long outages if you ask.

Why is my Xfinity internet not working?
