Step by step

  1. Check it is not just you. Our live EE page shows reports from other EE customers in the UK in the last 24 hours, and the outage map shows where they are.
  2. Check EE's official outage page and enter your postcode or sign in, to see if EE already knows about a problem near you.
  3. Report it to EE:
    • Phone: 150, mobile support, from your EE mobile
  4. Write down when the outage started and when service came back. You need the times if you ask EE for compensation.
  5. Report it on our EE page too, so people near you can see it is not just them.

Can I get compensation for an EE outage?

EE's pay monthly mobile terms (from 16 January 2026) say it may pro-rate monthly charges by up to 100% during a reported period of severe network disruption, judged against your usage history, when no alternative way to use the service is available. EE broadband and landline are in Ofcom's automatic compensation scheme: £10.34 per day after two working days unfixed, £32.31 per missed engineer appointment and £6.46 per day for late activation, credited automatically. When will it be fixed?

Only EE knows. If EE lists the problem on its official outage page, that is where an estimated fix time appears. We cannot see EE's network: our live page shows whether reports from other customers are still coming in, and a drop in reports usually means service is coming back.

Tell others it is not just them

A report on our page does not reach EE, but it shows other EE customers nearby what is happening. Reports are anonymous.
