- Check the status card at the top of this page. If SaladCloud reports a problem, it is on their side: wait, or launch somewhere else.
- If an instance will not start, try another region or another GPU type: "no capacity" errors usually mean that type is sold out, not an outage.
- If you cannot connect over SSH, check the instance is running, the port and IP are right, and your key is the one the instance was created with.
- Check your account balance or billing limit: many GPU clouds stop or refuse instances when credit runs out.
- Save your work to persistent storage or a volume, so a failed or preempted instance does not lose it.
- Look at the reports on this page: if other people report the same problem with SaladCloud at the same time, it is not just you.

Why can't I start an instance on SaladCloud?
The most common cause is no free capacity for that GPU type in that region, which is not an outage. Try another region or GPU type, and check your account balance. If the status above shows an incident, wait for it to clear.
