Is Metro down right now?
Metro outage and service status, from reports in the last 24 hours.
Reports
Metro has no public status feed
Metro does not publish a live status feed, so this counts outage reports from people having problems. A sudden jump in reports means an outage.
Metro uptime and outages
Tracking started recently. Updated Oct 22, 2026, 12:35 UTC.
Recent Metro problems
No outages, degraded periods or maintenance recorded.
If that network is having an outage, Metro is usually affected too. Check its reports as well.

Top regions
- No reports in the last 24 hours.
Top cities
- No city has 5 or more reports.
For privacy a city is listed only once 5 or more people there have reported in 24 hours.
Map of user reports in the last 24 hours, not Metro's official outage map. Each report is one visitor to this site saying something is not working, placed by the approximate location of their connection. A coloured state means people there reported problems, not that an outage is confirmed.
We do not link to an official Metro outage map yet. Most providers show outages at your own address in their app or account once you sign in.

- Turn Airplane mode on for 15 seconds, then off again. This forces your phone to reconnect to the network.
- Restart your phone. If it shows "SOS only" or "No service" afterwards, the problem is probably the network, not your phone.
- Check that mobile data and data roaming are on, and that your plan is paid up.
- Turn on Wi-Fi calling if you have Wi-Fi: you can call and text over Wi-Fi while the mobile network is down.
- Reset network settings (iPhone: Settings > General > Transfer or Reset > Reset Network Settings; Android: Settings > System > Reset options). This clears saved Wi-Fi passwords.
- Take out the SIM and put it back, or for an eSIM, check it is still active in your settings. If others near you on Metro have no signal too, it is an outage: wait, and check Metro's official support account for updates.
Metro outage questions
Is Metro down right now?
Metro does not publish a live status feed we can read, so this page shows reports from people having problems with Metro in the last 24 hours. A sudden jump in reports, especially from one area, is the usual sign of an outage. If you have no service too, report it with the buttons above so others can see it.
What network does Metro use?
Metro uses T-Mobile. When that network has an outage, Metro customers are usually affected too, so check its status as well.
Why does my phone say SOS only?
SOS only means your phone cannot connect to your own carrier, but can still reach emergency services through another network. It happens during outages, in areas with no coverage from your carrier, or when there is a problem with your SIM or account.
How do I fix no service on Metro?
Toggle Airplane mode, restart your phone and check your SIM or eSIM. If it still says no service and others near you have the same problem, it is a network outage and only the carrier can fix it.
