Is Visible down right now?

Visible outage and service status, from reports in the last 24 hours.

Reports

Visible has no public status feed

Visible does not publish a live status feed, so this counts outage reports from people having problems. A sudden jump in reports means an outage.

Recent Visible problems

No outages, degraded periods or maintenance recorded.

Visible runs on Verizon's network.

If that network is having an outage, Visible is usually affected too. Check its reports as well.

Top regions

  1. No reports in the last 24 hours.

Top cities

  1. No city has 5 or more reports.

For privacy a city is listed only once 5 or more people there have reported in 24 hours.

Map of user reports in the last 24 hours, not Visible's official outage map. Each report is one visitor to this site saying something is not working, placed by the approximate location of their connection. A coloured state means people there reported problems, not that an outage is confirmed.

We do not link to an official Visible outage map yet. Most providers show outages at your own address in their app or account once you sign in.

What to do if Visible is not working

  1. Turn Airplane mode on for 15 seconds, then off again. This forces your phone to reconnect to the network.
  2. Restart your phone. If it shows "SOS only" or "No service" afterwards, the problem is probably the network, not your phone.
  3. Check that mobile data and data roaming are on, and that your plan is paid up.
  4. Turn on Wi-Fi calling if you have Wi-Fi: you can call and text over Wi-Fi while the mobile network is down.
  5. Reset network settings (iPhone: Settings > General > Transfer or Reset > Reset Network Settings; Android: Settings > System > Reset options). This clears saved Wi-Fi passwords.
  6. Take out the SIM and put it back, or for an eSIM, check it is still active in your settings. If others near you on Visible have no signal too, it is an outage: wait, and check Visible's official support account for updates.

Visible outage questions

Is Visible down right now?

Visible does not publish a live status feed we can read, so this page shows reports from people having problems with Visible in the last 24 hours. A sudden jump in reports, especially from one area, is the usual sign of an outage. If you have no service too, report it with the buttons above so others can see it.

What network does Visible use?

Visible uses Verizon. When that network has an outage, Visible customers are usually affected too, so check its status as well.

Why does my phone say SOS only?

SOS only means your phone cannot connect to your own carrier, but can still reach emergency services through another network. It happens during outages, in areas with no coverage from your carrier, or when there is a problem with your SIM or account.

How do I fix no service on Visible?

Toggle Airplane mode, restart your phone and check your SIM or eSIM. If it still says no service and others near you have the same problem, it is a network outage and only the carrier can fix it.
