Top regions
- No reports in the last 24 hours.
Top cities
- No city has 5 or more reports.
For privacy a city is listed only once 5 or more people there have reported in 24 hours.
Map of user reports in the last 24 hours, not Telus's official outage map. Each report is one visitor to this site saying something is not working, placed by the approximate location of their connection. A region in the list means people there reported problems, not that an outage is confirmed.

- Turn Airplane mode on for 15 seconds, then off again. This forces your phone to reconnect to the network.
- Restart your phone. If it shows "SOS only" or "No service" afterwards, the problem is probably the network, not your phone.
- Check that mobile data and data roaming are on, and that your plan is paid up.
- Turn on Wi-Fi calling if you have Wi-Fi: you can call and text over Wi-Fi while the mobile network is down.
- Reset network settings (iPhone: Settings > General > Transfer or Reset > Reset Network Settings; Android: Settings > System > Reset options). This clears saved Wi-Fi passwords.
- Take out the SIM and put it back, or for an eSIM, check it is still active in your settings. Then enter your postal code on Telus's official outage page (linked on this page): if it lists a problem near you, or others near you on Telus have no signal too, it is an outage and you can only wait.
Telus outage questions
Is Telus down right now?
Telus does not publish a live status feed we can read, so this page shows reports from people having problems with Telus in the last 24 hours. A sudden jump in reports, especially from one area, is the usual sign of an outage. If you have no service too, report it with the buttons above so others can see it.
Where is Telus's official outage page?
Telus's own outage and network status page is https://www.telus.com/outages. Enter your postal code or sign in there to see known problems and planned work near you. We link to it but cannot read it automatically, so the reports on this page are counted separately.
Why does my phone say SOS only?
SOS only means your phone cannot connect to your own carrier, but can still reach emergency services through another network. It happens during outages, in areas with no coverage from your carrier, or when there is a problem with your SIM or account.
How do I fix no service on Telus?
Toggle Airplane mode, restart your phone and check your SIM or eSIM. If it still says no service and others near you have the same problem, it is a network outage and only the carrier can fix it.
