Top regions
- No reports in the last 24 hours.
Top cities
- No city has 5 or more reports.
For privacy a city is listed only once 5 or more people there have reported in 24 hours.
Map of user reports in the last 24 hours, not Firecrawl's official outage map. Each report is one visitor to this site saying something is not working, placed by the approximate location of their connection. A region in the list means people there reported problems, not that an outage is confirmed.

- Check the status card at the top of this page. If Firecrawl reports an incident, the errors are on their side.
- Retry failed requests with exponential backoff (for example 1, 2, 4, 8 seconds, with some random jitter). Short 500, 502, 503 and 529 errors often clear within minutes.
- A 429 error means a rate limit or quota, not an outage: check your usage limits and tier, and slow down or batch requests.
- A 401 or 403 error usually means the API key is wrong, revoked or out of credit: check the key and your billing page.
- Check the model name: retired or renamed models return errors that look like an outage.
- Keep a fallback: route to another provider or model while Firecrawl is down (see the alternatives below), or use a router that switches automatically.
Firecrawl outage questions
Is Firecrawl down right now?
The card at the top of this page reads Firecrawl's official status page live, and times Firecrawl's API from our servers every few minutes. If the official page shows an incident, the problem is on Firecrawl's side.
When was Firecrawl last down?
We have not recorded a Firecrawl outage or degraded period since we started tracking it on Oct 7, 2026. Its uptime and the full history are on the Firecrawl outage history page.
Why does Firecrawl return 500, 502 or 503 errors?
These are server-side errors: the request reached Firecrawl but it could not answer. They usually come in bursts during incidents or heavy load. Retry with exponential backoff, and check the status above.
What does a 429 error from Firecrawl mean?
429 means too many requests: you hit a rate limit or a usage quota. It is not an outage. Slow down, batch requests, or raise your limit in your Firecrawl account.
What can I use while Firecrawl is down?
Other search, embeddings and data apis include DeepL API, Voyage AI, Jina AI, Exa API, Tavily, Brave Search API. Each has its own status page on this site, so you can check one is working before you switch.
